Summer is in full swing here and I’m celebrating the 4th of July holiday at the beach in California instead of Minnesota this year.  Bring on the sand in my toes, sun on my face and ocean breezes!

It is hard to believe 2012 is half way over and before too long kids will be back at school and holiday festivities will be here.

If this year has slipped by and you haven’t made much progress with your pilates biz remember there is always time to turn over a new leaf.  Just make the decision to do things differently – right now – and you’ll begin to get different results!

Are you wondering what you need to do differently?

Not sure where to begin or how you’ll get it all done (keep reading for inspiration)?

Then you need to get on the early notification list for my online training program, Profit With Pilates, here.  This program literally details exactly what pilates instructors and studio owners need to be focused on to get more clients, make more sales and ultimately have more freedom in their life to do what they love.

When you sign up for the list, you’ll be sure to hear about all the free online training I’ll be offering in addition to sneak peeks in to the Profit With Pilates System. . . no strings attached.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to interview studio owner, Jill Hinson, of Monroe, North Carolina.  She has 3 kids and opened up a studio 9 months ago in a town where very few knew what pilates was or how to pronounce it.

(If you haven’t already, be sure to read her blog post on how to open a studio in a small town here.)

I was able to record the interview with Jill and I think you’ll not only enjoy it but be inspired by Jill and her team.

Here are 5 things you’ll learn from this interview with Jill:  (go straight to interview here)

  1. Have a business plan, but realize it will and should change.
  2. Be willing to take risks (Jill took lots of calculated risks and they paid off!)
  3. How much hard work is really required?
  4. How to schedule your time including outside of the studio
  5. Do you do it all alone? (learn about the team Jill created for maximum success)

Remember, even if you don’t have your own pilates studio this information applies to you!  As an independent pilates instructor, you are likely responsible for wearing many hats in addition to being a teacher.

Let me know your thoughts in the comment section and what your experience has been like opening a studio so we can all learn from each other.

Thank you for being part of The Pilates Biz Community!

All the best,

Gina

PS – My popular online training program, Profit With Pilates, is going to be re-released again soon but you have to be on this list for exclusive training and very special offer.
